Guys,
We have all messed up. For most of us, it has been more than once! Sometimes we are so oblivious that we don't realize what our woman wants. We think we are doing everything right, when in fact, we are far from it. Has your lady friend ever asked you to show that you love her?
Let me give you a few tips... it usually doesn't take much!
1) Remember how special you made her feel when you first met? Revisit those times of opening the door, gazing into her eyes, and giving her corny gifts.
2) Make her something. It could be a card, a collection of photos you have, anything that she can phyically hold that will remind her of the two of you.
3) Women like flowers!!!! it doesn't have to be a special occasion. Randomly show up with a nice boquet of her favorite kind.
4) Give her a massage at the end of the night! Foot rub, back, neck, do it all!
5)Show her some attention
Saying "I love you" isn't always enough!

After the Snow Melts
The snow is beginning to slush and melt away on this warm winter day. As my memories drain down the city pipes I get ready for the coming week.

two worlds
College has become me. I live here, I work here, and I play here. I feel very disconnected to my former Hendersonville life of 18 years. 465 miles away, my family and old friends go about their daily lives as I go about mine here. I have a whole different network of friends than I did a year ago. The only thing that relates my two worlds is the vehicle that i drive to and from with. I wake up some mornings and feel like i am in a second world. I have greater control over this one though. Pre-college life was uncontrollable, I was always rolling with the punches and playing defense. Here I make my schedule and my rules for the most part. I am learning how to live. I have searched for love, but is that the most important thing in my life right now? I'm still achieving goals that i set. I still believe in those goals. This "second life" that i know will all disappear in 4 years. Funny how something so temporary feels so permanent.

Do you know when you need help?
Most times we refuse help when we need it the most. We have jaded perceptions of what is right and wrong in our small world. College is where you develop habits that stick with you the rest of your life. You become who you are in college. Your views change, your friends change, and just about everything changes. Always be open for advice even when you don't think you need it.
Don't be so quick to judge, evaluate the issue at hand. Casually bring it up and try and solve it. Remember, friends stick by friends! Don't give up if you fail, continue to be there for them even if they are upset with you. Everyone needs a friend!
